Thank you for stopping by; we're so happy you're here!

We are DBDA Uplifts, a fan-run initiative that focuses on boosting collaborative creative events, hosting and highlighting charity fundraisers, and spreading positivity through vocal support and encouragement in the Dead Boy Detectives community.Dead Boy Detectives implores audiences to choose to do good even in the face of hardship. It reminds fans that there is power in collective effort and healing in establishing "found family" and community. Our goal is to apply these lessons with direct action.Good art doesn't just move people's hearts; it inspires change and reflection, too. We hope to take this story, a gift that was given to our fandom, and pay it forward! Our aim? to pour as much good into the world as possible, in honor of this story and its abundant hopeful messages. In the wise words of our favorite walrus-turned man..."You never know when the good you do may come back around."

In 2025, we launched LGBTQ+ Charity Fundraisers and organized Birthday Charity Events alongside the Save Dead Boy Detectives Campaign and the news and promotion account, DBDAgency.

In a joint effort with the Save Dead Boy Detectives Campaign and DBDAgency's Pride Month festivities, we oversaw two major projects: the Pride Billboard Project, coupled with a donation to the Trevor Project, and the Pride Month Charity Calendar,
"The Case of the Year Ahead."

In 2025, we donated $600.00 (USD) to the Trevor Project with the Save Dead Boy Detectives campaign, and our fandom raised a total of $5,505.81 (USD) for various other amazing LGBTQ+ Charities through our Pride Charity Calendar! You can see a full breakdown of the numbers in the spreadsheet HERE.We are honored and forever grateful to have been trusted with both of these projects. We're thankful to Edlington, our talented fandom artist and good friend, who partnered with us to bring to life the billboard of our dreams. (Edlington also provided all the beautiful artwork featured in our graphics across socials — you're the best, Eds!) We're deeply grateful to the 74 talented artists who contributed to the Pride Month Charity Calendar. We're also thankful for the support and efforts of the Save Campaign and DBDAgency team, who worked with us every step of the way to assist with communication, tracking the donations, and rallying the community together on social media. But perhaps most of all, we're in awe of this fandom because none of this would have been possible without a phenomenal community rallying behind these projects. If you donated, or even just spread the word about what we were doing, THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts! This is truly the best fandom we know, and we cannot wait to do more major collaborative projects with you all.

In collaboration with the Save Dead Boy Detectives Campaign and DBDAgency's Birthday Billboard Project, we donated a total sum of $300 (USD) in 2025 to honor our Dead Boy Detectives on their birthdays! These bonus donations were made alongside the community-funded billboards that played in Times Square, New York!
